Brief explanation Gas Liquid Chromatography

Gas Liquid Chromatography:

Gas- inert mobile phase
Liquid: stationary phase where analytes interact with.




Sample
Minute quantities of the sample is drawn into the micro syringe.
Sample must be thermally stable and volatile.

Injection
Once sample is injected into the injector port, the sample undergoes flash vaporisation.
